A self starter having the ability to work from home, identify and develop new accounts, maintain and service existing accounts, and work with distributors and resellers.
Must be willing to work on the basis of success with the primary measurement being account identification, development and retention measured against mutually agreed monthly revenue quotas.
* Utilize various contacts and other information resources to locate (cold call) and set up appointments with prospective new customers that fit within target markets suitable for these types of parts and services
* Collaborate and coordinate with the equipment sales team, indirect sales channels, including distributors and resellers and referral agents to locate and capitalize on new business opportunities
* Follow up on marketing generated leads from our strong web assets, trade shows, direct mail, and other activities
* Develop networks and contacts to sell into companies and organizations at a high level with an enterprise-wide multiple unit approach
* Develop strong product knowledge of all 3Dproparts solutions, products and services in order to present a broad, and reasonably deep overview of the technical capabilities of our offerings in the context of an overall tailored solution
* Be able to recognize when additional 3D technical resources are required to satisfy a customer’s applications; know how to effectively and efficiently utilize those resources
* Be able to effectively articulate and present a value analysis that quantifies 3Dproparts benefits and demonstrates measurable cost savings versus competition
* Communicate and effectively execute Sales Forecasts and Strategic Sales Plans to management
Education and Training:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Experience:
Two years of territory sales experience with a proven track record of significant measurable success selling RP parts for a recognizable service bureau; comfortable in a salary + commission sales environment with sales targets and quota expectations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Experience working in a service bureau environment is a must
* Experience selling RP parts, preferably to manufacturing or engineering or design customers
* Experience in creating presentations that translate product and solution benefits into measurable, quantifiable cost savings
* Requires an ambitious and optimistic personality with an aggressive approach to selling
* A reputation of integrity and a track record of creatively satisfying customer needs
* A strong track record of developing and growing business within an existing customer base, as well as aggressively pursuing new business through cold calls and other prospecting avenues
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development and flow through an organization, and purchasing procedures is required
* Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Willing and able to work from home
* Must have a valid driver’s license and own a suitable vehicle for visiting and transporting customers
